American nutrition giant joins Fortune 500 companies in Megaworld’s flagship township
Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines, part of global consumer health company Reckitt based in the United Kingdom, is relocating its Philippine headquarters to Uptown Bonifacio, becoming the latest major US-based firm to establish operations in Megaworld’s premier township in Taguig City.
The company is moving to the newly completed Uptown Eastgate tower as it consolidates its local operations with Reckitt Philippines. Reckitt is the global force behind trusted health, hygiene, and nutrition brands, including Lysol, Strepsils, Durex, Veet, and Mead Johnson’s child nutrition products such as Enfamil, Lactum, and Sustagen.
With this move, Mead Johnson joins other Fortune 500 and leading U.S. companies that have chosen Uptown Bonifacio to be their center of operations. The list includes JPMorganChase, Google, Tesla, and Coca-Cola, highlighting the township’s growing reputation as a top business address.
“Uptown Bonifacio continues to attract the world’s biggest companies because it offers a complete ecosystem for success—modern office developments complemented by a vibrant commercial district and topnotch residential condominium towers. Our developments meet the highest international standards for workspace, connectivity, and sustainability, making it the ideal location for multinational headquarters and shared services operations,” says Francis Roxas, head, Megaworld Global Offices.
The 31-story, LEED Gold-Certified Uptown Eastgate—the largest single office development for lease in BGC—offers a total gross leasable area (GLA) of 100,000 square meters, including the market’s largest single-floor plate of up to 5,000 square meters. The tower features modern facilities, sustainable design, and smart building systems tailored for multinational firms and shared service centers.
Currently, Uptown Bonifacio hosts over 30 top local and multinational companies that employ more than 60,000 professionals across seven office towers. Within BGC, Megaworld remains the largest office landlord and developer, managing nearly 900,000 sqm of office space—more than half of its 1.7 million-square-meter nationwide portfolio— according to CBRE Philippines.
In 2025, Megaworld’s office leasing revenues reached P14.9-billion, rising by 11%, driven by contributions from new assets, rental escalations, renewals, and continued take-up from BPO firms and multinational companies within the company’s integrated townships.
Megaworld also ended 2025 as the top office lessor in the country, closing an industry- leading 162,000 square meters of office transactions, consisting of expansions from top- tier BPOs and multinational firms according to property consultancy firm CBRE. Megaworld was also ranked by CBRE as the No. 1 office lessor nationwide, leading in both Metro Manila and key provincial business hubs including Pampanga, Bacolod City, Iloilo City, and Davao City.
